An immersive experience

Presented at EULAR, the European Congress for Rheumatology where several thousand Rheumatologists and members of the scientific community were present. Our aim was to help delegates fully understand the impact of living with SpA from the perspective of a patient.

Emotional engagement

"The insight behind these patients’ stories is one of a hidden condition. They are unable to really express the burden and the loneliness of the disease."

Used as part of the immersive experience to demonstrate what it feels like to be a patient with SpA, the animations needed to be naturalistic in order to reflect the emotional content of the stories.

Visually impacting

"Finger took the art direction of our stories to the most personal space of someone’s most inner thoughts – their diaries. The illustrations are raw and perfectly marry the emotion of the story."

The Patient Diaries are based on a real accounts from patients living with SpA. The brief was to ensure the animations were visually impacting. The production was completed with a quick turnaround to ensure both animations were delivered in plenty of time for Congress.
