October has been a very interesting month indeed …

It all started when we met Nick Clegg at his local H.Q. Oli Hyatt from Blue Zoo invited us to join him and Ben Smith from Red Star 3D to support Animation UK, a campaign dedicated to securing fairer trading conditions for UK animation producers. Animation UK’s aim is to help UK animators stop losing jobs, rights and IPs to countries who give out subsidies to their own animation industries that we can't match. As a father of three, Mr Clegg was very familiar with much of the content but was surprised to hear the industry was shrinking at such an alarming rate. We hope that after reading Animation UK’s report that he may wish to help us find a solution to get us on a level playing field with our many international competitors.
We then starred in the Independent on Sunday (23rd October)! A full page spread dedicated to Animation UK, with our lovely Jack Mach and Mike the Knight working their stuff to illustrate the article.
